In 1993, along with the help of the Murphy family, CASBA started the Kit Murphy Memorial Scholarship Fund.  CASBA is committed to building this trust fund so that a substantial number of recipients can receive financial aid as they develop their skills through higher education. As the trust fund increases, so do the number of scholarships awarded.  So far, over $220,000 has been contributed by our friends and members which was invested and earned enough to help us award over 250 scholarships in Kit's name.

CASBA was incorporated in 1996, therefore all contributions are legally deductible.

Nathan, attending Grand Valley State University, Allendale, MI, says "I would like to thank you for the scholarship aid that you presented me."

Elizabeth, another Michigan State senior, thanks the Kit Murphy Scholarship organization, "so very much" for her fourth scholarship. She further states that paying for college would have been a real burden without CASBA's help.
